Max speeds recorded were 43.4 km/h (downhill skateboard) and 41.5 km/h (downhill inline). They were personal best records for both Steven and myself. Even though I had the higher max speed reading, Steven was consistently beating me down the hill, with me having to draft him closely hoping to slingshot past him at the end. In fact, I only beat Steven once and that was during my max speed run (43.4 km/h).

Our last run was the best and most fun, because I managed to get in real close behind Steven and we both finished side-by-side at the finish line. Spectators would definitely say that was a photo finish!
